Blueprint Summer Programs works with The Martin Institute for Law and Society at Stonehill to provide students with an unparalleled pre-college summer experience. The prestigious institute is a center for interdisciplinary inquiry at Stonehill, and Blueprint directs the summer program alongside its dedicated director, Dr. Peter Ubertaccio.
Stonehill College beautiful is located in historical Easton, MA, a CNN Money 2009 "Best Places to Live" and only 22 miles south of Boston!
Stonehill's designated airport is Logan International (BOS) in Boston, MA. Students traveling to the program by plane may request Blueprint's Pick-Up/Drop-Off service during the online registration process for an additional fee.

Staff
For each program, Blueprint hires a skilled crew of directors, teachers, resident advisers to work alongside college faculty and staff. Our directors oversee all aspects of program life and ensure that each student has the opportunity to become an active member of the community. Courses are taught by college faculty, gifted teachers and talented professionals. We recruit only the brightest and most passionate teachers to connect with our students. Our resident advisers act as big brothers and sisters to students while they're away from home. They help students acclimate to new settings and guide them through little challenges along the way.

- Road Trip Week 1 | Six Flags New England
From thrilling rides to world-class entertainment, Six Flags New England has it all. Soar like the Caped Crusader on Batman — Dark Knight. You’ll be strapped in tight, with nothing but air below your dangling feet. Or hop on Bizarro, the newly designed coaster cars with custom built audio in the headrest. After a menacing climb, plunge 221 feet into the first of two fog-filled tunnels to launch into Bizarro's twisted world. - Road Trip Week 2 | Boston, Massachusetts
During week-2, we'll pack up for the day and head out to Boston... only 22 miles away! 2012 Blueprint Summer Programs Courses at Stonehill College
- Business and Entrepreneurship
Have you ever dreamed of starting your own company or running a business? Learn some tricks of the trade this summer at Stonehill College. Classes will be focused on conceiving adventurous ideas, planning and executing your goals, marketing and selling strategy, how to build strong business relationships and more! Students will be immersed in all that goes on in the fast-paced business world, and special attention will be given to maintaining market value in this rapidly changing economy. This is the perfect course for the student who wants to turn his or her lemonade stand into a lemonade corporation. - Creative Writing
Discovering your literary voice is an irrefutably rewarding experience. Students will spend their summer dissecting poetry, prose, essays, and short works by some of the great writers of our time, while diving headfirst into some substantial works of their own. The syllabus will focus on structure, narrative, theme, and character development, as well as brainstorming and peer workshops. It is our hope that the students in this course will truly embrace their love of writing and become part of that proud tradition. - Psychology
Psychology is the science of mind and beahavior. By examining rich texts, as well as famous experiments (such as The Stanford Prison Experiment) students will learn the imperative elements of behavioral theory and scientific ethics. Students will design and execute their own experiments and learn how to research and write about the results. This course will open your mind not only to the world we live in, but the different ways we live in it. - History of Baseball
Learn the history, statistics, strategies and team-building success stories and failures of America’s favorite pastime, plus hit the stands and watch the Red Sox play a game in Boston. This course covers a wide spectrum of baseball history and knowledge, from what’s inside a baseball and how players are traded to the science behind a knuckleball. We will also explore the role that baseball plays in our culture, and discover how the economy, national politics and world events have impacted the rise of baseball in the United States. - Off The Record: Political Scandals In America
Uncover the hidden agendas, secret meetings and personal pitfalls that can bring down even the most respected politician. This course will begin by exploring famous scandals that rocked our country to its core. We’ll examine the short-term and long-term effects of political scandals, and discuss whether or not any public figure can withstand the harsh glare of the national spotlight. Finally, we will look at how crisis control can salvage a politician’s reputation – or ruin it for good. - Forensic Science and Criminology
Go beyond prime time and take a closer look at the real-world professionals who make a career out of solving crimes. In this course, we’ll study the origins of forensic science and criminology, the impact of modern technology and the breakthroughs that are on the horizon. We will also review a number of high-profile cases from both past and present, and discuss the role that forensic science and criminology played in their outcomes.
